How do you stay ahead of the start time curve? Follow the LSU Baseball Twitter account. They are the oracle of clock updates.
They post memes. They post videos of players eating sandwiches. Then, suddenly: “First pitch moved to 4:05 PM CT.” You will feel like you cracked a code.
Also, listen to the stadium announcer. His voice is like warm butter. When he speaks, the universe re-aligns its schedule.
Why You Should Show Up Early (Like, Really Early)
An hour before the first pitch? That’s prime time for batting practice. You can stand ten feet from the players. They’ll wave, maybe toss a ball.
It’s also when the peanut vendor starts his war cry. “Pea-nuts! Get your red-hot peanuts!” It’s a soundtrack to happiness.
And the smells are incredible. Fresh-cut grass, hot dogs, and victory cologne. Yes, victory has a scent. It smells like popcorn and sunscreen.
