We spend so much time curating playlists for other people. We stress about what’s “cool” or “appropriate.” But a theme tune? It belongs to you. It doesn’t have to be good. It just has to be yours.
Write a tune about your car’s weird rattle. Sing it about your cactus named Gerald. Give your Monday morning a title sequence. Do it with full commitment, no irony, and a little bit of sass.
The world is waiting for your song. It’s waiting for that weird, catchy, one-of-a-kind melody that only you can sing. And guess what? It will smile back at you.
So go ahead. Write the theme tune. Sing the theme tune. Give yourself a standing ovation in the bathroom mirror. Because life is too short not to have a catchy intro. And the best part? The season finale never comes. You keep writing new episodes. You keep singing. And the tune? It only gets better. Now, hit play. You’ve got a show to run.
