Here’s a big one. Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, happens in October or November (the date moves, because the universe likes to keep us guessing). It’s a beautiful celebration of light over darkness, and yes, it involves lots of fireworks.
So if you hear a big bang and see colourful sparkles, it might be your local community celebrating Diwali. That’s a definite “yes please” from the sky gods. Plus, you get the bonus of amazing food smells drifting from nearby houses. Win-win.
