It also shows how fragile our big plans can be. We spend billions on these amazing machines, but they still have the same weak points as a family hatchback—only a lot bigger and a lot more expensive to fix.
For now, if you want to see the HMS Queen Elizabeth, you’ll have to take a trip to Rosyth. Pack a raincoat. Bring a camera. You might catch a glimpse of a very expensive, very stationary, very majestic parking lot ornament.
