In one sentence: the Gatwick Express goes from Gatwick Airport to London Victoria and back, plus some services extend to Brighton, Horsham, and East Croydon. It’s a branded service, not just a route, so its stops vary by time of day and season. Confusing? Yep. But also kind of charming in a “British rail chaos” way.
Next time you’re at Gatwick, don’t just jump on the purple train blindly. Take a second, check the board, and remember my story. You’ll save yourself from a surprise trip to a town you’ve never Googled. And if you end up in Ore anyway? Honestly, just embrace the chaos—it’s part of the adventure.
