Adelaide Cottage has a hidden passageway that connects to Windsor Castle. No, really—there’s a tunnel so William can pop over for tea with his dad without being photographed in his slippers. It was originally built so servants could move dishes without bothering the royals, but now it’s basically the world’s most exclusive secret hallway for the Wales kids to race each other through.
Adelaide Cottage: All we know about Prince William and Kate Middleton's
And the neighbors? Just the Queen’s former residence, Frogmore Cottage (now occupied by a nobody named Harry—just kidding, you know him). The Waleses also have a direct line to the castle’s helipad, so when the kids have a dentist appointment, they don’t drive; they take a helicopter. The school run is now a matter of national security.
The Real Answer: All Over the Place
So where do William and Kate actually live? The honest, hilarious truth is: wherever the Wi-Fi is free. They shuffle between Adelaide Cottage for school term, Anmer Hall for holidays, and Kensington Palace for work, plus a random castle when the mood strikes. It’s like a very fancy game of musical chairs, except every chair is a historic estate and the music is played by a string quartet.
In summary, their “home” is a rotating door of four residences, each with its own butler crop and secret tunnel. The takeaway for us commoners? Next time you complain about your tiny apartment, just remember: the Prince and Princess have to remember which palace they left their keys in. Now that is a first-world problem.
So, if you ever see a kid in a school uniform emerging from a thatched cottage looking royally annoyed, don’t worry—it’s just George looking for his lost dragon toy. And Kate’s probably making him a packed lunch in her ten-bedroom farmhouse. Absolutely normal.
