If the thought of crowds and chaos makes you want to stay home, don't worry, you can still join in on the fun! Many TV networks broadcast the ball drop live, including ABC, NBC, and Fox, so you can watch from the comfort of your own couch. You can even host your own party and invite friends over to ring in the new year with you.
If you're looking for something a bit more low-key, you can also stream the ball drop live on social media platforms like YouTube and Facebook. This way, you can still feel like you're part of the action without having to leave your house. Plus, you can share your own NYE celebrations with friends and family who can't be there in person.
But, did you know that the ball drop isn't just limited to Times Square? There are plenty of other places around the world that have their own versions of the ball drop, from to Las Vegas. You can even watch the ball drop on a cruise ship or at a theme park, if you're feeling fancy.
