I know you’re tempted to ask your cousin who “knows everything about football.” Don’t. He’ll tell you the wrong date and then argue about it for an hour. Just check the official NFL website or the 49ers’ team site—it’s updated immediately after every season.
Your phone’s calendar is a secret weapon. Seriously. Search for “San Francisco 49ers schedule” in your calendar app, and it’ll auto-add every game. Boom. You’ll never miss a kickoff again.
And if you’re still lost? Google “49ers game today” and it’ll give you the time, channel, and probably your horoscope. (I’m kidding about the horoscope. But wouldn’t that be fun?)
What if the game is away?
Great question. The 49ers play in Santa Clara, California, but they travel to places like Seattle, Dallas, and sometimes London. Yes, London. If you’re in the UK, your game starts at 6 PM local time, which means you can eat dinner and scream at a TV at the same time.
For away games, the time stays the same as the home team’s time zone. So if they play in New York, it’s 1 PM Eastern, which is 10 AM Pacific. That’s a breakfast game, folks. Mimosas and touchdowns!
