What if the game is at 4:25 PM? That’s the “late afternoon” slot. It means you have time for a nap, a workout, and then the emotional rollercoaster. Pro tip: nap before the game, not during. You don’t want to miss a touchdown because you were drooling on the couch.
How to watch Detroit Lions game tonight (12/5/24) | FREE LIVE STREAM
What if it’s a noon kickoff in your time zone? That’s actually the same as 1:00 PM Eastern. Don’t overthink it. Just show up, sit down, and get ready to yell “Let’s go, Lions!” until your voice is gone.
And what if the game is already over by the time you read this? Then tomorrow’s game is actually next week. Don’t panic. The Lions play every week. It’s a beautiful, reliable thing, like sunrise or your neighbor’s dog barking at a squirrel. You’ll have another chance to cheer.
The Most Important Rule
No matter what time the game starts, don’t be late. The Lions always have a trick up their sleeve in the first quarter. They might throw a deep bomb to Amon-Ra St. Brown, or they might fumble on the first snap. Either way, you don’t want to miss the drama. Drama is the secret sauce of Lions football.
And remember: if you’re watching with friends, delegate the snack duty. You can’t be the quarterback of the living room and the chef. Let someone else handle the queso while you handle the game-winning touchdown dance.
