Tomorrow, at 6:30 PM sharp, the BBC will air its usual batch of sparkle, tears, and Craig Revel Horwood’s death stare. But if you’re three minutes late, don’t sweat it. The show always re-airs the first 15 minutes on iPlayer anyway. Or you can just rewind live TV—if you have a fancy box that lets you do that. (I don’t. I still use a portable antenna.)
The point is, Strictly is forgiving. It wants you to be there, but it won’t judge you for arriving after the intro music. So mark your calendar, set that alarm, and when the clock hits half past six, pour yourself a cuppa. The dancing is starting. Finally.
