Lewis always does an encore. Always. He’ll pretend to leave, walking off stage like a grumpy teenager whose Xbox just broke. Then the crowd claps, stomps, and chants until he shuffles back out, usually in a different t-shirt. This encore adds about 10 to 15 minutes. So if the main set ends at 10:15 PM, expect the actual finish at 10:30 PM. Plan accordingly. Do not sprint for the exit during the last song unless you want to miss his little speech about how much he loves “ugly crying” with strangers.

One more thing: if you’re going to a festival set (like Glastonbury or Reading), the finish time is strict. Festivals have curfews. He won’t be able to ramble about his digestive issues until 11 PM if the stage shuts down at 10:30 PM. That’s actually a good thing for your schedule. Festivals: reliable. Arenas: spontaneous. Choose your adventure wisely.
So, why should you really care?
Because planning is caring. Not about being boring, but about protecting your joy. When you know the finish time, you can fully surrender to the moment. You can sing “Hold Me While You Wait” at the top of your lungs without peeking at your phone. You can laugh when he makes a joke about his own anxiety because you’re not thinking, “Oh no, am I going to miss the last bus?”
And honestly, that’s the whole point of going to a Lewis Capaldi show. It’s not about precision. It’s about connection. It’s about bonding with thousands of strangers over heartbreak, laugh-crying, and the universal truth that we’re all just trying to get home in time to feed the cat. So check the times. Tell your friends. Breathe easy. The concert will end. Your memories—and your sleep schedule—will thank you.
Now go buy that overpriced t-shirt. You earned it.
