Did you know Infiniti once made a pickup truck? The QX80 is based on the Nissan Armada, but the Armada itself is a big SUV. Also, the Infiniti Q45 had a feature called “Active Suspension” that was so advanced it basically drove itself… in 1990. Take that, Tesla!
And here’s a real knee-slapper: Infiniti’s first ever ad campaign didn’t show the car. It just showed trees and rocks. People were like, “Is this a car or a meditation app?” It was bizarre, but it worked. It made Infiniti feel mysterious. Mission accomplished, I guess.
