It shot up from the ruins of the old Southwark Towers. That older building was only 22 stories. Now, it’s 95 stories of glass, steel, and pure ambition.
Building it was a nightmare. The site is near London Bridge, right next to a river and a train station. Workers had to dig huge foundations through clay and water. They used a special concrete that doesn’t crack. Any mistakes? The whole thing might have tilted like a drunk giraffe. But it didn’t.
