First up, the usual. A broken-down lorry decided to make the M3 its new, temporary home. It was near Junction 2, just before the A3 merge.
Of course, it picked the exact time everyone was trying to get to work. Did the driver wave apologetically? I like to imagine they did. The result? A crawl that was more of a stand-still party for about 20 minutes.
Then Came the "Surprise" Roadworks
You know those signs that say "Roadworks ahead" with no actual workers in sight? Yeah. Today, they were real. Near Junction 5, they closed a lane for "emergency barrier repairs."
Emergency? Or just a convenient excuse to make us all feel alive? Either way, cones multiplied like rabbits. If you were heading south, you probably invented a few new swear words.
