You might think “Canning Town” or “Greenwich” would work. Don’t do it. Canning Town is a drag – you’ll need a bus or a 20-minute walk. Greenwich station is pretty, but it’s a solid half-hour hike along the Thames Path. Nice for a date, not for catching a show.
Even the Emirates Air Line cable car (yes, a cable car!) drops you nearby. But it costs extra and feels like a tourist trap. Stick with North Greenwich. It’s the only logical choice for a sane person.
