So, how did this whole Daryl death rumor get started? Well, apparently, some "insider" claimed that Daryl would meet his end at the hands (or teeth) of those nasty zombies. And, of course, the internet being the internet, the news spread like wildfire – or in this case, like a zombie outbreak! It was like the whole fandom was undead, crawling out of the woodwork to mourn the potential loss of their beloved Daryl.
But, spoiler alert: it turns out Daryl is still very much alive and kicking (and snarking, because let's be real, that's what Daryl does best). In fact, Norman Reedus has even confirmed that Daryl will be back for more adventures in the upcoming seasons. So, all you Daryl fans can breathe a collective sigh of relief – your hero is safe, for now!
