Here’s the fun part. The movie is packed with geographic Easter eggs. In one scene, Amanda’s flight from LA lands at Heathrow Airport. That makes sense.
But then she drives to Rosehill Cottage. The cottage is supposed to be in a tiny village. The drive looks like it takes ten minutes. In reality, from Heathrow, you’re looking at an hour minimum.
And the lighting? It’s called “magic hour” lighting. Every scene looks like golden sunset. Even the rainy England scenes have a warm glow. It’s a cheat, and we love it.
Jude Law’s Walk of Fame
The iconic walk where Iris and Miles (Jude Law) talk about the perfect kiss? That’s in Surrey again. It’s a path called the “North Downs Way.”
But the snow you see is all real from a different shoot. They added digital snow to the actors’ breath. Technical genius or romantic sabotage? You decide.

And that crying scene in the phone booth? The phone booth was brought to the set. It’s not a real British phone box from the street. Pure fabrication.
