If you tried hopping on a train this morning, you probably saw that dreaded yellow sign: “Delays expected until further notice.” Ugh, right? It’s the kind of message that makes you want to flip your table (don’t do that, you’ll spill your latte).
Network Rail stepped in and confirmed the incident (their polite word for “this is going to be a mess”). They said services between London King’s Cross and Peterborough were totally suspended for a while. Absolute chaos for commuters and weekend travelers alike.
I mean, who needs a morning alarm when you have “severe delays” as a wake-up call? Not me.
