Picture this: it’s 3:45 PM. You’re clutching a list that reads “brussels sprouts and brandy butter.” Your heart is a tiny, frantic drum. Where do you go? You can’t just waltz into any supermarket—they might be locking their doors right as you sprint across the car park.
But not Morrisons. Oh, no. They are the quiet heroes of the last-minute dash. They know you’re not a planner. They know you thrive on the edge of chaos. And they have a plan for you.
So, What’s the Magic Number?
Here’s the uplifting truth: most Morrisons stores close at 7 PM on Christmas Eve. Yes, you read that right. Not 4 PM. Not 5 PM. A whole glorious 7 PM. That’s an extra two hours of pure, festive procrastination. You can still finish work, pop in for a pint of custard, and be home in time for a mince pie and a glass of something bubbly before the big day begins.
But wait—and I have to say this because I love you—always check your local store’s time on the Morrisons website. Some smaller stores might close at 6 PM. Don’t let a rogue branch ruin your flow. A quick glance at your phone is worth the peace of mind.
