The map of the Twelve Tribes of Israel shows us where each tribe settled in the minuland of Israel, which is now modern-day Israel and the West Bank. It's amazing to see how they were all scattered across the land, like pieces of a puzzle, each with its own territory and borders. Can you imagine living in a time when your whole community was defined by your tribe and where you lived?
One of the coolest things about the Twelve Tribes of Israel is how they each had their own symbol and flag, kind of like how countries have their own flags today. The tribe of Judah, for example, had a lion as its symbol, while the tribe of Reuben had a man as its symbol - how's that for interesting?
