Mr. Tumnus: The Faun with a Guilty Conscience
Mr. Tumnus is the first friend Lucy makes. He’s a faun (half-man, half-goat) who collects parcels and loves tea. He’s also a terrible kidnapper. He literally invites Lucy for tea, plans to turn her in, then dissolves into tears.
He’s sweet, a little dramatic, and he redeems himself by helping the kids. Plus, his cave is cozy. I want his book collection.

Mr. and Mrs. Beaver are basically the parents everyone wishes they had. Mr. Beaver is a gruff, no-nonsense builder. Mrs. Beaver is a domestic goddess who packs supplies even while a witch’s wolf spy is at the door.
They provide the snacks, the intel, and the emotional support. If I’m ever in a magical war, I want Mrs. Beaver on my team. She’d probably make sandwiches for the battle.
