Here’s a fun twist. Some places have “civic holidays” or “public holidays” that aren’t technically bank holidays. In Canada, for instance, Boxing Day is a statutory holiday in some provinces. But December 29th? Sorry, no.
In the US, they don’t even have “bank holidays” the same way. They have federal holidays. And none of them fall on December 29th, unless there’s a presidential decree for “Extra Pie Day.”
