So, is Easter Saturday a bank holiday? No, and it probably never will be. But that doesn’t mean you can’t treat it like one. Take the day off if you can. Eat too many mini eggs. Watch a bad movie. Just don’t expect the postman to show up.
And if anyone asks why you’re lounging in your pyjamas at 11 AM on a Saturday, just smile and say, “It’s a spiritual bank holiday.” They won’t argue. They’ll probably join you. Because honestly, doesn’t everybody deserve a day that feels like time off, even if the calendar says otherwise?
Go on. Eat another chocolate bunny. You’ve earned it. Happy Easter Saturday—or whatever we’re calling it.
