This is where you need to be a detective—or just check your phone. Most Asda stores will open at 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM on Good Friday, but closing times shrink. You’re looking at a 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM close, compared to the usual 10:00 PM or midnight on a normal Friday.
It’s like when your favorite pub decides to close early for a private party—slightly annoying, but you get it. Pro tip: Use the Asda store locator on their website or app. It’s quicker than asking a confused relative who “thinks it’s open until 5.”

What About Big Asdas vs. Little Asdas?
Here’s the fun part: not all Asdas are created equal. A big Asda Supercentre (you know, the ones that sell clothes and garden furniture) might have slightly longer hours than a small Asda Express petrol station. The Express stores are often open a bit later, like a convenience store that just happens to wear the Asda logo.
Think of the Supercentre as the main character in a movie, and the Express as the cool sidekick who stays up later. Either way, you’ll find something, but don’t assume the big store will be open until 10 PM.
