A Grade 4 is a pass. A Grade 5 is a strong pass. Everything else is a bonus or a learning opportunity. It’s a system, not a judgment.
If you got a pass, celebrate with a pizza. If you didn’t, eat two pizzas and try again. The numbers change, but you don’t. You’re still the same weird, wonderful human who reads articles about grades for fun.
So, smile. You now know more about GCSE passes than 90% of adults. Go forth and confuse your parents with your newfound wisdom. They’ll be so proud they won’t even ask about your Grade in Art History.
