Every year, there’s that one person you think you know, but they surprise you. For 2026, it’s a soap opera legend who played a villain for 20 years. She’s already trending for saying she’ll "bring the mess" to the jungle. I bet she’ll actually be the most grounded person there. Or she’ll start a feud over the last bag of rice. Either way, I’m here for it.
Oh, and let’s not forget the reality dating show reject. You’ve seen him on Love Island, The Bachelor, and probably a Netflix doc about failed influencers. He’s here to "redeem himself." Buddy, the only redemption is surviving the bushtucker trials without crying. Good luck with that.
The One That Hurts (But in a Good Way)
There’s always a wildcard we’re rooting for. Rumour has it, a beloved children’s TV presenter from the 90s is signed. She’s the one who taught you how to draw a cat or sing a song about brushing your teeth. Seeing her scream at a cockroach will break our childhood hearts. But also, it’ll be hilarious. She might even become the camp mom, braiding hair and telling stories. That’s the redemption arc we didn’t know we needed.

And speaking of redemption — is it too early to call a winner? Because if that ex-Olympian doesn’t win, I’ll eat my own sock. (Actually, don’t quote me on that. I don’t own any clean socks.)
