Go outside (no, your living room wall will not survive this). Nock an arrow, draw back, and let it fly at a target. Watch where it lands. If it hits left, right, or wobbles, check for a bent shaft or a cockeyed fletch. Make one small tweak at a time. Change the angle of one feather or trim a beard off the point. Do not change everything at once—that’s how you lose your mind.
And you will miss. A lot. It’s fine. I once missed the target entirely and hit a rain gutter. The sound was so specific my neighbor asked if I was manufacturing sirens.
