Ready to face the music? Open your Uber app. It’s that ride-hailing icon that taunts you every time you’re broke.
In the bottom right corner, tap the little person icon. It looks like a silhouette of a very generic human.
On the next screen, look for your name and photo. Right there, in plain sight, you’ll see a tiny number. That number is your score. It’s usually out of 5.00. If it’s above 4.8, pat yourself on the back.
If it’s below 4.6… well, let’s just say you might want to start being nicer to your drivers.
Tap into the Details
Don’t just stare at the number like it’s a math test you failed. Tap on it! This is where the magic (or horror) happens.
Uber will break down your score. You’ll see how many 5-star, 4-star, or 1-star ratings you’ve gotten. Yes, someone actually gave you a single star.

Was it because you made them wait? Because you talked their ear off? Or because you were silent and “creepy”? We’ll never know. But the data is there, staring back at you.
