Now we get to the fun part. You can buy chlorine neutralizers at any pool store—sodium thiosulfate or hydrogen peroxide are the usual suspects. These chemicals eat chlorine for breakfast. One little packet can drop your level from 10 ppm to zero in about 15 minutes.
It’s like a chemical pacifier. You just dissolve it in a bucket of pool water, pour it in, and watch the magic. Your test kit will confirm it: blue turns clear, high becomes safe. Super satisfying.
A word of caution, friend
Don’t overdo it. Neutralizers can also nuke your pool’s sanitizer, leaving you with zero protection. Add only the amount needed for a drop of 1–2 ppm at a time. Measure twice, pour once—like baking, but with more goggles.
