Tessa Peake-Jones was born on October 12, 1957. If you do the math, that makes her 67 years old (as of 2026). Pretty straightforward, right?
But here’s the thing: how can that be? I mean, Raquel seemed timeless, didn’t she? Part of the magic of this fact is that she doesn’t look or feel like someone born in the late 1950s.
She’s Older Than the Internet (And That’s Cool!)
Think about it: Tessa was born the same year the Space Race was in full swing. She’s older than the first email, older than The Beatles’ first album, and older than your average microwave. Wild, right?
But when you watch her on screen, she feels so present, so modern. It’s like she skipped a few decades in the time machine. How does she do it? Probably good genes, a dash of British stubbornness, and a lot of laughter.
