So, how much do U.S. Marshals make? Enough. Enough to live comfortably, own a house, and take a vacation to the beach once a year. Enough that your mom can brag about you at Thanksgiving without lying. But not enough that you’ll ever forget that you traded a normal 9-to-5 for a life of adrenaline, strange motels, and the constant smell of stale coffee from a gas station.
If you ever meet one, don’t ask about their salary. Just buy them a drink. Or better yet, a pizza. They’ve been chasing someone all day, and they probably never got to eat that one slice they were about to bite into when their pager went off.
