Here’s where things get spicy. If you miss the first drop—and you probably will—you’ll hit the resale market. Sites like StubHub and SeatGeek become your frenemies.
Ariana Grande Fans Call Out Ticketmaster After Shows 'Sell Out'
Prices here are completely unhinged. A $150 face-value ticket can become $400 on resale. It’s like watching a bidding war for your wallet.
For popular cities like New York or Los Angeles? Expect 50% to 100% markups. I saw tickets for her last tour going for $3,000. For one night. In a building full of people.
Why So Much?
Let’s be real: it’s Ariana. She’s not just a pop star; she’s a cultural event. Her tours are theatrical, emotional, and packed with hits. Demand is insane.
Plus, ticket bots are a thing. They scoop up hundreds of tickets in seconds. Then they resell them at jacked-up prices. It’s unfair, but it’s the reality.
Another factor? Dynamic pricing. Ticketmaster adjusts prices based on how many people are clicking. If a thousand people are trying to buy at once, the price goes up. It’s like Uber surge, but for joy.
