There are also ‘ghost kitchens’—delivery-only locations that don’t have a storefront. Pizza Hut uses these in big cities like London and Manchester. They might as well be ninja pizza shops, appearing only on your Uber Eats screen.
So the actual number of “Pizza Huts” you can walk into is smaller than the total count. You might think there’s a Hut just down the road, but it’s actually a secret pizza lab in a warehouse. Spooky, right?

And get this: some of those old restaurant buildings are now just delivery hubs. The red roof is gone, replaced by a black sign with a simple logo. It’s like your favorite band went acoustic—still good, but different.
Why Should You Even Care?
Because numbers like this tell a story about how we eat. We’re moving from sit-down dinners to couch-based feasts. Pizza Hut adapted, shrinking its dine-in empire while expanding its delivery fleet. That’s why the count feels both low and high.
Next time you order a pizza, think about the logistics: thousands of drivers, boxes, and ovens working just to get that stringy mozzarella to you. It’s a small miracle, really. A cheesy, delicious miracle.
And if you’re ever curious, you can check Pizza Hut’s website. They have a store locator. But don’t expect it to be as fun as this little rabbit hole. After all, knowledge is power—especially when it’s about pepperoni placement.
So, how many Pizza Huts in the UK? About 640. But honestly, the number that matters is the one that delivers to your door. And that’s probably just one, which is plenty. Unless you’re hosting a party. Then, well, good luck.
