The male lobster will often serenade the female with a gentle tapping on her shell, kind of like a lobster love song. If she's interested, she'll signal back with her own vibrations, and they'll start their underwater waltz. It's a pretty romantic affair, if you ask me!
As the male and female lobsters get cozy, they'll start to change color and display some pretty fancy courtship behaviors. The male will even go so far as to give the female a little "nuzzle" to show his affection. It's like they're saying, "Hey, I'm really into you, and I want to make this work!"
