That 43 square miles doesn’t just float around empty. Inside, you’ll find four colossal theme parks. Magic Kingdom alone sits on 107 acres; Epcot sprawls across 300, with a massive lagoon at its heart.
Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom are huge, but Animal Kingdom is the largest theme park on Earth by area. It’s 580 acres, so large that you could fit Magic Kingdom inside it five times over. The park’s centerpiece, the Tree of Life, is 145 feet tall.
Then, of course, there are the two water parks. Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon are basically water wonderlands that would be major attractions in any other city. And let’s not forget the 27 Disney-themed resort hotels, plus the Disney Springs shopping district, which is the size of a small downtown.
