Kosovo has only been a member of FIFA since 2016, which is pretty recent if you think about it. So, it's not like they've had a ton of time to build up their team and rise through the ranks. But, despite being the new kids on the block, they've already made some impressive gains in their ranking.
Currently, Kosovo is ranked 114th in the world, which might not seem that great at first glance. But, when you consider that they were ranked 190th just a few years ago, you can see that they're making some serious progress. It's like they're the underdog that everyone's rooting for - you know, like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the football world.
So, what's behind Kosovo's rapid rise through the ranks? Well, for one thing, they've got some amazing young players who are really making a name for themselves on the international stage. And, they've also got a super passionate fan base that's always cheering them on - it's like they've got their own personal 12th man!
But, let's not get ahead of ourselves - Kosovo still has a long way to go before they're competing with the likes of France or Argentina. I mean, those teams have been dominating the sport for decades, so it's not like Kosovo can just magically leapfrog them overnight. Still, it's exciting to think about the possibilities - what if Kosovo keeps rising through the ranks and becomes a serious contender?
