Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of campsites. Some are boring, some are muddy, and some make you question your life choices. Hillhead isn’t any of those. It’s special. The staff are friendly, the site is immaculate, and the location is basically a cheat code for a perfect holiday.
Would I go back? I’m already planning my next trip. The only downside? Your standard of camping will be ruined forever. You’ll compare every other site to Hillhead and find them lacking. Sorry—not sorry.
