And the lighting? Perfectly evil. It’s all flickering candles and deep shadows. My friend actually jumped at a fake spider. I laughed. Then I screamed because I walked into a cobweb. Classic.
The Puzzles: Brain-Twisters with a Wand Wave
Now, let’s be real: escape rooms can be hit or miss. Some are just “find a key, open a box, repeat.” Not this one. The puzzles here are clever. They actually make you feel like a wizard. You’re not just pressing buttons—you’re casting spells (okay, waving a fake wand) and brewing potions. One puzzle involved matching ingredients to a cauldron. I accidentally added “dragon blood” instead of “unicorn hair.” The room did a dramatic “wrong” noise. Mortifying.
