Visit the college during a random Tuesday, not an open day. Look for the exhausted students—they’re the ones who actually study. If the coffee machine works, it’s a 5-star establishment.
Second, ask about the ratio of “support staff” to “counsellors.” If they have more careers advisors than mental health support, run. You will cry. It’s fine. Just do it somewhere with free tissues.
