Now, let's get to the juicy stuff: the buyout clause. If Coach Norvell were to leave Florida State, he'd have to pay a pretty penny - we're talking $10 million! That's a lot of dough, but hey, it's all part of the game, right?
But here's the thing: Coach Norvell's contract is a complex beast, with all sorts of perks and bonuses thrown in. For example, he gets a $250,000 bonus just for making it to the ACC Championship game! Not too shabby, if you ask me.
So, what does it all mean? Well, for one, it means that Florida State is serious about winning. They're willing to shell out the big bucks to get the best coach, and that's something to get excited about! Can you feel the energy building?
