Let your elf misbehave just a little. Have them draw a mustache on a family photo. Use a washable marker. The shock value is massive. Then have them leave an apologetic note: “I got carried away. Sorry Mom.” It teaches a lesson about forgiveness, wrapped in giggles.
Another idea: cookie heist. Have the elf empty a bag of chocolate chips into a bowl. Leave a tiny spoon and a milk carton. It shows they crave what you crave. It’s relatable and silly.
