Now for the kids. Dylan is the teenage son who is obviously obsessed with Dusty. He thinks his step-dad is a loser. Typical, right? He glares at Brad like Brad invented boring.
Then there’s Megan, the younger daughter. She’s the one who sees through Dusty’s tough-guy act. She’s also the one who Brady Bunch-splits her face during a martial arts lesson. Her character is pure comic relief, and she nails it.
And let’s not ignore the baby. The baby is basically a prop for manly competition. One scene has Dusty trying to feed it a smoothie while Brad panics. It’s hilarious, but also, please feed the baby properly.
