Ah, the special slot. Lions fans have had a few of these lately. If it’s a Sunday night, expect 8:20 PM ET on NBC. That’s the “put on your lucky jersey and order pizza” hour.
Lions Game Time Today Lets Find Out
Monday night? 8:15 PM ET on ESPN. That’s the “I have a meeting tomorrow but I don’t care” energy. And Thursday night? 8:15 PM ET on Amazon Prime. Yes, you need a subscription. No, you can’t borrow mine.
Here’s a rhetorical trap: You thought you knew the time, but then the NFL flexed the schedule. Flexed it! Like a sadistic gym coach. Suddenly your 1:00 PM game is at 4:25 PM. Your plans? Shattered.
How to Actually Find Out (Without Losing Your Mind)
You could Google it. But let’s be honest—Google gives you a vague “Likely 1:00 PM” and then you panic. Don’t panic. Use a dedicated app like NFL Mobile or ESPN. They have the real scoop.
Or, you can do what I do: Check the Lions’ official website. It’s surprisingly not terrible. It literally says, “Kickoff: 1:00 PM ET” in big, friendly numbers. No guessing.
Also, Twitter. But careful. Twitter will also tell you the score before you watch, which is a crime against humanity. Protect your eyes.
